‘Tis the season to put a ring on it? Surrounded by friends and family, getting engaged during the holidays is the best possible gift! Here at Goldberry Woods, we could not be more thrilled because we get to help more amazing couples to create their perfect, simple elopement or small Michigan destination wedding!
Our elopement package is perfect for those couples who want a fuss, but a simple and intimate fuss to celebrate their love. We handle EVERYTHING for you! The officiant, cake, flowers, champagne and the photographer…..you only need to bring your license and rings. We have curated a list of local vendors to make this day seamless for each of our couples. We can incorporate small personal details into each unique ceremony, or you can leave it all up to us.
During the worst of the pandemic, couples chose elopements over big weddings out of necessity. We are still seeing many couples gravitate towards elopements to lower their costs and their stress. Our intimate ceremonies can consist of the bride and groom, an officiant, and a witness (though our elopement package does allow for up to ten total guests).
In season, we create the bouquets ourselves from the cutting gardens in our organic farm. We offer couples a choice of our outside Pine Row or inside our Modern Farmhouse Barn for the ceremony. We offer decorating options from plain to Boho macrame to sheer to fit your style. No matter what season, our 30 acres of gardens and woods are an exquisite backdrop for your day.
Guests may reserve our Barn for small destination weddings at the venue for up to 75 guests with 50 guests lodging at our Inn, Cottages and Vintage Campers. Couples can use the space to plan their perfect day. Our Modern Farmhouse Barn is also perfect for hosting rehearsal dinners and receptions for couples who are planning larger weddings at a bigger venue. It even has a generous catering kitchen.
