Each of our eight rooms at our farm bed and breakfast has its own gas fireplace so you can curl up and enjoy the kind of evening this season is made for. Each room shows off a custom-built bed constructed from local wood like cedar, white birch, and driftwood. Take a soak together in the large whirlpool tub perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the orchards and trails of southwest Michigan.
Our farm to table breakfast is made from scratch every morning, gathered from our organic farm or sourced from other local vendors. You can enjoy breakfast in our dining area or, if you’d prefer, we can deliver breakfast to your room instead.
Try Michigan Glamping with Private Fire Pits
At the back of our 30 acre farm beneath ancient white pines, you’ll find our two, heated, vintage glampers, Flora and Fauna. These Avion campers were originally built just north of us in Benton Harbor and now they have found a home here at Goldberry. A romantic weekend getaway in one of our glampers gives you time to pause, look around, and reconnect with what really matters.
Each of our vintage glampers includes a private deck with outdoor seating, a grill, and a firepit perfect for Michigan’s cooler fall evenings. Step inside and you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen, cozy with luxury linens, and a bathroom with a small tub/shower. In the morning, brew some coffee or enjoy our complimentary waffle kit provided with each stay.

Year Round Pool and Hot Tub in the Hoophouse
Our large, heated pool can be found inside our hoophouse. We open the sides during the warmer months and close it up as the weather cools down, so our guests can enjoy the pool area all year round. After a dip in the pool, warm up and destress in our large hot tub.
Enjoy a Hike or Kayak the Galien River
Don’t leave Goldberry without exploring the woods and trails of our 30-acre property along the Galien River. Head down to the landing at the river’s edge, sit and watch the water go by, or grab one of our canoes or kayaks for an afternoon of Galien River kayaking.

Apple picking in Michigan
While you’re welcome to wander through and explore our own orchards, Goldberry Woods isn’t a u-pick farm. Our produce is used in our scratch made breakfasts and can often be purchased from our Market Stand. Take Color Tours for Breathtaking Views
Fall color in Southwest Michigan usually peaks between mid-October and early November, turning the back roads around Goldberry into their own kind of scenic drive. Try Wine Tasting Just Minutes Away
Fall is when the wineries surrounding Goldberry come alive, the vineyards filling the air with the scent of grapes as you explore tasting rooms. St. Julian’s tasting room is just a mile down the road in Union Pier, and tastings there are on us for our guests. Once the weather turns, Dablon’s chalet-style lodge has a fireplace and tasting room that is worth the drive. Our advice: pick two or three stops, then come back to Goldberry Woods to unwind in the tub or by the fire.
Hit the Beach in a Hoodie
It may not be summer, but Lake Michigan beaches are breathtaking in every season. The water hasn’t fully cooled yet and some days are still sunny and warm. Even if you don’t jump in, holding hands while strolling the shore looking for beach glass is a memory worth making.
