UNION PIER — A documentary film partially shot at Goldberry Woods in Union Pier had its local premiere at the Vickers Theatre, 6 North Elm St., Three Oaks, on Nov. 1, Nov. 2, Nov. 3 and Nov. 5.
“Leap of Faith,” a documentary featuring 12 diverse West Michigan pastors who attend a series of retreats and engage in constructive debate was partially filmed at the modern farm resort in May of 2023.
According to a release from Goldberry Woods, director Nicholas Ma filmed the retreats and pulled pastors aside for one-on-one interviews in the Goldberry Woods Cedar Log Suite. Goldberry Woods also hosted the final retreat and had the privilege of watching Ma and the “kind and intentional pastors” in action.
