Ring a Ling! Is anyone seeing a ring this holiday season? The Holiday Season is one of the most popular times of year for silver diamond bands to be found and gifted amongst the Silver Bells. For those getting engaged and celebrating their love during the holidays, everyone here at Goldberry Woods wait and anticipate the small destination weddings and elopements for the coming year.
Our elopement package is perfect for those couples who want their special day, but want it to be simple and intimate to celebrate their love. and don’t worry? We handle EVERYTHING for you! The officiant, cake, flowers, champagne and the photographer…..you only need to bring your license and rings. We have curated a list of local vendors to make this day seamless for each of our couples. We incorporate any small personal details into each ceremony. Pick all your music, have a first dance or don’t, eat the cake now or later; white dress, black dress, red dress…where whatever you like.
Elopements have been gaining more and more popularity since the pandemic and inflation keeps skyrocketing. Many couples that chose elopements want to lower their costs and their stress. Our intimate ceremonies can consist of the bride and groom, an officiant, and a witness (though our elopement package does allow for up to ten total guests).
During our peek Summer season, we create the bouquets ourselves from the cutting gardens in our organic farm. We offer couples a choice of our outside Pine Row or inside our Modern Farmhouse Barn for the ceremony. We offer several decorating options from plain to Boho macrame, to sheer to fit your style. No matter what season, our 30 acres of gardens and woods are an exquisite backdrop for your day, and each of our amazing photographers has captured each couple and the grounds in their own unique and beautiful way.
While our Elopement Package is gaining popularity, we also offer small destination weddings. Guests may reserve our Barn venue for up to 75 guests with 50 guests lodging at our Inn, Cottages and Vintage Campers. Couples can use the space to plan their perfect day. Our Modern Farmhouse Barn is also perfect for hosting rehearsal dinners and receptions for couples who are planning larger weddings at a bigger venue. It even has a catering kitchen!
