We have always loved this recipe from The Joy of Cooking Cookbook. Fill these delicious crepes with sweet or savory fillings. Some of our favorites include browned butter apples with our Browned Butter Bourbon Cream Cheese Frosting, Nutella with fresh berries or berry sauce, or even breakfast sausage with garden veggies and cheese! Mix it up and have fun!
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Cup Lukewarm Water
- 4 Eggs
- 4 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Instructions:

In a blender combine, milk, eggs, and salt.

With blender running add in flour and melted butter.

Mix until just combined. Do not over blend!

Preheat a crepe pan over medium heat.

For each crepe add about a 1/2 teaspoon of butter to the pan and swirl to coat the pan. Then add only enough crepe batter to cover the bottom of the pan. This will probably be only about 1/4 Cup of batter. While pouring the batter in the pan swirl to coat the bottom of the pan with the batter.

Cook until the crepe bubbles and lightly browns on the bottom. Flip the crepe and let lightly brown on the other side.

Slide crepe onto a plate and repeat with the rest of the batter.

Fill crepes however you like and serve!
